Style Notes: Hood by Air on Hiatus; Coach Has New CEO

Hood by Air, the high-end street wear brand founded by Shayne Oliver and Leilah Weinraub, is officially on hiatus while Oliver completes his top secret design collaboration with Helmut Lang, which will be revealed in September. Weinraub, too, is busy outside of the label. Most recently, she was working on her film Shakedown. A press release from the brand, which is beloved by Jaden Smith and Naomi Campbell, states only that the label will "continue to fulfill its creative vision in the near future." 

Coach Has a New CEO [Business of Fashion]
Coach has welcomed former Bergdorf Goodman president Joshua Schulman to the team as the new brand president and CEO. In the newly created position, Schulman will oversee the global branding of the fashion house and report to Coach Inc. CEO Victor Luis. The Coach Inc. empire has been looking to grow recently, with rumors swirling that the brand will soon acquire Kate Spade and also attempt to expand globally. Most recently, Coach and Rodarte teamed up for a special collection of embellished leather pieces. 

Meghan Trainor Goes Back to Blonde for Cosmopolitan [Cosmopolitan]
Meghan Trainor landed the May cover of Cosmopolitan, rocking a blue bodycon dress with lacy red lingerie peeking through. The singer was interviewed by her boyfriend, actor Daryl Sabara (Juni from Spy Kids), for the story, opening up about their relationship, her career and, of course, her sex life.
