When you're a Hollywood couple, getting a nickname is basically a rite of passage. So it was only a matter of time before new "It"-couple Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid were officially dubbed. Their new name comes courtesy of none other than Cara Delevingne, who captioned a photo of the fur and leather-clad couple on Instagram, "introducing G.I. Joe." Watch out, Brangelina. [Instagram]
Limited Too, land of tween dreams and rainbow everything, will once again grace malls across America. Sun Capital Partners, the parent company of The Limited, reportedly sold the brand to Bluestar Alliance, who plans not only to bring Limited Too merchandise to department stores as early as fall 2016, but to also rebuild the bright pink storefronts synonymous with all things girly in the early 2000s. Carolina Herrera, the demure designer known for her sophisticated and ladylike designs, will be honored by the Smithsonian at their inaugural American Portrait gala in Washington D.C. alongside other American history makers including Aretha Franklin and Hank Aaron, all of whom have portraits hanging in the gallery. The 76-year-old designer was photographed by the late Robert Mapplethorpe looking chic as ever back in 1979. [WWD]
The American winners of the Woolmark International Prize for menswear and womenswear designers of 2015/2016 have officially been announced. Tanya Taylor and Siki Im have been named as the recipients of the prestigious awards and will each be granted $37,000 towards their next line, with the opportunity to compete internationally for the grand prize.
