Style Notes: Kanye West Confirms Yeezy Season 3; Shinola Comes to L.A.
Lazy weekend reads.
Kanye West is such a tease. The rapper/fashion designer hinted that Season 3 of Yeezy is indeed in the works, posting a picture on Twitter which shows the words "Yeezy Season 3" as well as a date — Feb. 11, the day which his new album Swish is released — on a computer screen. West captions the image, "The monster." For Season 2, West dropped a "surprise" show during New York Fashion Week (causing quite a stir among designers already on the NYFW calendar) so we're not all that surprised to learn that Yeezy has some secrets up his oversized, beige sleeves. Detroit-based brand Shinola is expanding its reach by opening eight to 10 stores in 2016, with three set to open in L.A. The first location to open its doors will be on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice in April, with a second headed to The Grove in June and the third opening downtown in the Arts District in late summer. The new stores add to Shinola's existing L.A. store in Silver Lake. [WWD]
