Style Notes: 'OITNB's' Samira Wiley Is the New Face of Christian Siriano; Style.com Nabs Former Apple Exec
Your Thursday fashion update.
For his fall campaign, Christian Siriano has tapped Samira Wiley as his muse. Though we're used to seeing the Orange Is the New Black star, whom fans will know as the loveable Poussey, in gray sweats or khakis, she looks absolutely stunning in the new images wearing a forest green and black strapless number. Photographed by Brad Walsh, the campaign also stars a very muscular, very nude, male model. [Instagram]
It appears that Apple has become the new go-to pool of talent for the fashion industry, as Style.com has just nabbed former Apple general manager of Europe, Pascal Cagni, to join its board of directors. Also joining the revamped Style.com is Anna Wintour, which is not too surprising given that the ecommerce site, which will launch in January 2016, is under the Conde Nast umbrella. The Apple-poaching trend began earlier this month when LVMH announced former Apple Music exec Ian Rogers as the chief technology officer. [Fashionista]

She will also spread the word about the Lands' End's initiative which benefits one of Obama's praised projects, Let Girls Learn. The nonprofit organization assists young women globally who are not currently enrolled in school. [WWD]
