Style Notes: Princess Charlotte Portraits Released; Cyber Monday Shoppers Crash Target Website
Get back to the grind with a little fashion news.
New photos of the littlest royal person, Princess Charlotte, were released by Kensington Palace on Sunday, and we have to say, her chubby cheeks and bright blue eyes might just rival older brother Prince George's, making her cutest palace resident. The portraits were taken by Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton herself, and show the six-month-old dressed in a printed Liberty cardigan and dress playing with a cuddly stuffed dog. D'aww. [THR]
If a crashed website is the Cyber Monday equivalent of bloody Black Friday brawls, then Target had quite the riot this morning. High traffic caused the site to be "slowed down" temporarily so that it could accommodate more customers; however, this meant limited or no access to all the Cyber Monday goodies for some eager customers. According to a Target spokeswoman, the site had twice as many customers as its busiest day in recent history. [CNBC]

Ikea is doing its part to help the Syrian refugee crisis by building shelters for displaced persons. As part of the Better Shelter Project, the Swedish furniture giant is helping to construct shelters that feature locking doors and solar panels. In addition to providing the shelters, the company has launched the Brighter Lives for Refugees fundraising campaign, which will donate €1 to the refugees' cause for every lamp and lightbulb sold between Nov. 29 and Dec. 19.
