Reformation Opens Bridal Salon on Melrose [WWD]
On Wednesday, cult favorite Reformation is opening a temporary concept bridal studio on Melrose on the second floor of its Los Angeles flagship store. The appointment-only space will allow shoppers to try on pieces from the Ref Bridal collection, which includes both wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses. Since launching bridal in 2014, the category has taken off and now accounts for 20 percent of sales. If the salon is deemed a success, the company will look to open more bridal studios.
PacSun Reportedly Headed for Bankruptcy [Bloomberg]
Apparently, not even Kendall and Kylie could save SoCal-based skate/surf retailer PacSun. Bloomberg reported that the company will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy next week. In response to the rumors, shares for the retailer fell 78 percent on Tuesday.
Bella Hadid to Walk Australian Fashion Week [Vogue]
Further proof that Australia's fashion scene is on the rise: Bella Hadid will walk at the Mercedes-Benz Australian Fashion Week in May. The 19-year-old supe will open and close the show for Melbourne-based brand Misha Collection. Hadid has also been named the face of the label's resort 2017 campaign.
Kim Kardashian, Grace Coddington Named Speakers at British Vogue Festival [Fashionista]
British Vogue's annual festival has announced quite the star-studded speaker lineup for the May event, including Kim Kardashian, Alessandro Michele and Grace Coddington. Additional panel speakers and guests include Alexa Chung, designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana and Derek Blasberg, the host of CNN's newest style show. The two-day fest will also feature masterclasses and tutuorials covering all things fashion and beauty.
