Today's fashion Cliff Notes.

Zayn Malik Talks His Bearded Image in Complex [Complex]
In addition to the creative freedom that came with his public break-up with teen boy band One Direction, Zayn Malik revealed that his new solo career allowed him to pursue his other interests, too. Specifically, growing a beard. In his new Complex mag profile, the "Pillow Talk" crooner talked finally being able to grow out his facial hair and rock a bleached 'do, something he was prohibited from doing in the One-D days as it made him look older than the other babies — er, boys.

Pam Anderson Is the New Face of MissGuided [Instagram]
MissGuided, the U.K.-based juniors' apparel retailer, took a deep dive into American pop culture for its latest campaign star — Pam Anderson. The 48-year-old may be a bit out of the target age demographic, but she nonetheless slays in a one-piece suit reminiscent of her Baywatch days, as well as bodycons, minis and gold stiletto heels that prove the blonde bombshell is still the blond bombshell.

Zara Pulls "Gluten-Free" T-Shirt [Yahoo]
A cropped tee reading "Are you gluten-free?" was pulled from Zara's shelves following a petition started on Change.org which called the piece insensitive. Marta Casadesus, a Spanish woman who suffers from Celiac disease, started the petition after seeing the tee in a store. She wrote, "Celiac disease is not a fashion statement, nor should you make fun of the disease because of the strictness of the gluten-free diet and the problems that can arise if you do not follow it correctly.” Zara apologized and removed the tee from stores and online.
