Submission process for 17th SAG Awards begins

Submissions are now being accepting for performances to be considered for the 17th annual Screen Actors Awards.

The deadline for submissions is Oct. 28.

Actors may submit their own performances from 2010 for consideration in categories of the actor's choosing. With the actor's permission, producers, studios/networks, agents, managers, or publicists may also submit performances for consideration in the category designated by the actor. Submissions can be made online at www.sagawards.org.

Nominations will be announced Dec. 16, and the awards show is set for Jan. 30.
