Fogle's ties to the sandwich chain were suspended last month, following an FBI raid on his home.

Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle is set to plead guilty to possession-of-child-pornography charges, reported Indianapolis-based CBS 4.

Fogle is expected to accept a plea deal Wednesday, with the U.S. Attorney's Office holding a news conference that day to announce the deal.

The FBI raided Fogle's Indianapolis home last month in connection to a child-pornography case. Following the raid, Subway suspended its ties to the longtime spokesman, who rose to fame following his notable weight loss from eating routinely at the sandwich chain.

The FBI has reportedly subpoenaed an affidavit featuring texts between Fogle and a former female Subway franchisee. The text messages allegedly date from 2008 and involve Fogle asking the former franchisee to connect him with her then-underage cousin.

After news broke of Fogle's expected plea, Subway posted a message to its Facebook page to say it has cut all ties with the onetime face of the company. "We no longer have a relationship with Jared and have no further comment," the post reads.

Fogle's attorney declined comment to CBS.
