Sundance taps five docus for grants

Stories of Change funds films about social entrepreneurs

Sundance Institute and Skoll Foundation have awarded five new grants under the Stories of Change program, which aims to encourage the production of documentaries about social entrepreneurs.

The jury, which includes Christiane Amanpour and Eugene Jarecki, awarded grants to Africa technology pic "Connected," alternative-energy doc "Easy Like Water," microcredit tale "To Catch a Dollar," comedic environmental film "Sh*t!" and Indian health-care story "The Revolutionary Optimists,” joining five previously announced winners.

The first features made possible by these grants should be completed next year.
