Swiss Media Group Highlight Hits Revenue Targets

The firm, which controls Germany’s Constantin Film and sports marketing group Team Holding, booked revenues of $461million.

 

COLOGNE, Germany – Swiss media group Highlight Communications hit its revenue targets and boosted earnings in 2010, according to preliminary figures announced Wednesday.

The firm, which controls Germany’s Constantin Film and sports marketing group Team Holding, booked revenues of $461million (430 million Swiss Francs) last year, down from 518 million Swiss Francs in 2009, and increased profits to $0.76 a share (0.55) from 0.46 a share a year earlier. That beat Highlight’s own forecast, which predicted profits of between $0.58-$0.61 a share.

Investors welcomed the news, sending Highlight stock 4 percent up at the start of trading Wednesday.
