SXSW: 'Short Term 12', 'The Short Game' Take Audience Awards
Other award recipients include "An Unreal Dream: The Michael Morton Story," "Zero Charisma" and "Maidentrip."
After taking the Grand Jury Prize earlier in the week, the drama Short Term 12 claimed a 2013 SXSW Film Festival Audience award for Narrative Feature, it was announced Saturday. The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, stars Brie Larson, who plays a staffer at a juvenile home.
In the documentary category, Josh Greenbaum's The Short Game took home the Audience award. The documentary revolves around seven-year-old golfers as they learn to play the game.
