He joins the social media provider after leaving Rogers Media last month.
TORONTO -- Digital media veteran Claude Galipeau has jumped on board Toronto-based social media agency Syncapse as chief service officer.
The hire follows Galipeau doing the rounds of digital divisions at Canadian broadcasters, most recently at Rogers Media as general manager and senior vp.
Before that, he oversaw digital development at rival broadcasters Astral Media, Alliance Atlantis Communications and the CBC.
Syncapse, which makes and markets social media management software, earlier this month hired ex-Razorfish CEO Stephen England-Hall, to be based in its London office.
The recent recruitment drive follows Syncapse in February securing $25 million in new financing from ABS Capital Partners.
