Taylor Hill Wants to Be Behati Prinsloo's Nanny
Plus, the Victoria's Secret angel makes the case for letting your bra(lette) straps show.
According to Taylor Hill, one of Victoria's Secret's newest class of angels, being a part of fashion's most exclusive lingerie club is every bit as delightful as one would think it to be.
"Those girls are like my family and they’re like sisters to me — I love them so much," the 20-year-old gushed to Pret-a-Reporter during the Los Angeles stop of a press tour for the new Bralette Collection. "It’s more fun to see them every single day if you’re actually friends."
Hill and the new VS gang (Elsa Hosk, Josephine Skriver, Jasmine Tookes and Sara Sampaio, to name a few) just spent the weekend together at Coachella, hitting up the party circuit in addition to the festival. But she notes that it was Behati Prinsloo, specifically, that really took Hill under her (angel) wing.
"She’s just so funny and so weird and when I first met her I thought, ‘Oh, my god, I’m just as weird!’ We’re just weird together," Hill noted, adding that she's ecstatic for the Prinsloos' firstborn. "Oh, my god, I was so excited!" she said, recalling her reaction to the news. "I was like, ‘I’m gonna quit and become your nanny! I hope you know that’s gonna happen!'"
It doesn't look like she's quitting anytime soon, however. The jet-setter hits Montreal for her next stop on her tour to promote the lingerie retailer's new bralette collection — a fun, flirty style which she argues should be shown off (as she did on Tuesday, layering a blue lace bralette under a low-cut pink top) rather than hidden away. "If you’re wearing a loose t-shirt and it’s falling off your shoulder, you wouldn’t mind it showing."
But are the unpadded, lacey bralettes supportive enough for a woman who's a bit more well-endowed? Hill thinks so: "A lot of these styles have racer-backs and adjustable straps and you can clip it in the back to how tight you would need it, and I think that makes you a little more comfortable to go for something like that, especially if you have a bigger chest."
