The former "Gossip Girl" star is now putting all of energy into her music career.

Now that she's legal, Taylor Momsen has declared she's quit acting to dedicate her career to music and her band The Pretty Reckless.

The former Gossip Girl star told Elle, "I quit acting, actually. I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band and that’s pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully I’ll be able to only do that for the rest of my life."

Momsen announced on her Twitter page that her band will tour with Evanescence this fall in the U.S., following a European tour.

Taylor also dished about whether her band will release or not a new album, "We are actually just in the studio, we’ve been writing and recording some new stuff. So whether it’s a new album or, I don’t know exactly, we just write the songs and record them and everyone else decides what to do with them."

The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that Momsen would not be back as a series regular for the fifth season of the CW show.

The Pretty Reckless most recently played Lollapalooza and Japan's Summer Sonic festival.
