No longer concerned with cannibalization, the network will roll out full-episodes of its new series on multiple platforms –including on demand, NBC.com, Hulu, iTunes, Amazon and Xbox-- ahead of their official premiere dates. 

Go On and Animal Practice will get the Olympics launchpad, with commercial-free full episode previews airing August 8 and August 12, respectively. (The episodes will roll out online the following day.) All of the net’s other new fall series will receive a two-week digital sampling period leading up to the broadcast series' premieres.

“We're taking the proven success of sampling to the next level, expanding its reach with a comprehensive strategy that makes our entire freshman line-up widely available across multiple digital platforms,” said Robert Hayes, EVP of NBC Entertainment Digital, of a sampling strategy that is becoming commonplace as nets look to cut through the clutter ahead of the crowded September premiere period.

Among the other early promo efforts: cross-network plugging within the NBCUniversal empire and Warner Bros.-produced Revolution offering a six-minute sneak preview during the Olympics. The latter is slated to hit at 10:54 pm, following a swimming competition that is expected to feature Olympics draw Michael Phelps.

For its part, Dick Wolf, Mark Burnett’s reality entry Stars Earn Stripes will premiere August 13, the day after the Olympics conclude.
