Technicolor brightens exec suite
EmptyTechnicolor has remastered its executive ranks.
Chief technology officer Chris Carey's role has been expanded to include chief marketing officer and head of infrastructure management, Sean Moran has been upped to president of out-of-home media networks, and Bill Patrizio was appointed president of broadcast network services.
Carey joined Thomson's Technicolor Services division in 2006 and has led several technology development initiatives, including the division's media asset management platform, MIDAS. Before joining Technicolor, Carey spent about 16 years at Disney. During the launch of DVD, he was in charge of worldwide technical services and helped to initiate the formation of the DVD Production Group.
Moran is the former chief strategy officer for Technicolor's Premier Retail Networks business. Before joining PRN in 1998, he co-founded and served as chief information officer for Florens Container Services, an international leasing and logistics company.
Before joining Thomson, Patrizio was senior vp and chief procurement officer at JPMorgan Chase. He also served in executive management roles at Universal Studios and Disney.
