“We don’t want you," the main protester addressing the Texas senator says.

Video of Ted Cruz attempting to talk to supporters for Donald Trump is making its way around social media as the Texas senator seemingly made no headway in the impromptu discussion.

Cruz was stumping in Marion, Ind., on the eve of that state's primary when he decided to talk to protesters who were in support of Trump, the current GOP presidential frontrunner.

“We don’t want you," said the main protester addressing Cruz.

When Cruz attempted to push the man on specifics concerning what he liked about Trump, the man responded, "Everything," and then "the wall."

Trump has promised to build an enormous wall along the border and make Mexico pay for its installation.

The chat went on for about seven minutes in much the same fashion as it started.

Afterward, the main protester said he was "surprised" Cruz came over to talk. He also refused to give media his name to be quoted.
