Ted Danson: "Your Instincts Are Usually Right" When Deciding on Which Projects to Take | 'The Good Place' | Comedy Actor Roundtable

Danson discussed character development as well as sexism and agism in the industry.

"Every acting trap known to man, I fall into daily," Ted Danson told The Hollywood Reporter during the Comedy Actor Roundtable. "Hopefully they cut around it."

While watching himself on the first season of The Good Place, Danson said, "this is either really good, or it's some of the worst acting I've ever done in my entire life."

"This year's a lot more fun because you get to see behind the curtain."

More roundtables featuring comedy and drama actresses, actors, showrunners and reality creators will continue through July in print and online. Tune in to new episodes of Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter starting May 25 on Sundance TV, and look for clips at THR.com/topic/roundtables with full episodes on THR.com after broadcast.
