#SocialGathering: 'Teen Vogue's' Young Hollywood Party Hits the 'Bu, Sarah Jessica Parker's En Pointe NYC Ballet Gala
And 2-for-1 Gucci shoes?
Can't keep up with what's been going on in the social media world? Fret not. Here, a gathering of what the stars have been up to this week on social media.
Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood Party Hits the 'Bu
Teen Vogue celebrated the 14th anniversary of its legendary Young Hollywood party in Malibu Friday night. The party reveals the next generation of entertainment superstars that are slated to get a lot of "likes."
Teen Vogue and Instagram set up incredible installations for partygoers: a whimsical Airstream featured Super 8 vintage projections over cool lighting for grabbing Instagram pics and video, and a street-art wall boasted a live graffiti artist. Troye Sivan, Sarah Hyland, Cameron Dallas, Ariel Winter, Yara Shahidi, Connor Franta and more were on the guest list.

Dietitian-nutritionist McKel Hill feted her new cookbook, Nutrition Stripped, at Fresh at The Grove this week to a totally on-board crowd. It’s widely known that one of the tried-and-true secrets to having great skin starts with what you eat. Hill’s new book gets into the nitty-gritty of eating well — beginning with an in-depth education in seeds and grains and ending with desserts with full-fat coconut milk. In celebration of Fresh’s new Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask, Hill whipped up five glow-getting recipes for an extra boost (think: vegan citrus chocolate bites and adding tahini and clementine to your morning oatmeal). If this is what it takes to get great skin from the inside-out, count us in.
2-for-1 Gucci Shoes?
Luxury brands aren’t known for having good deals, but Gucci’s turning all that around with a convertible shoe. A removable slipper comes tucked into an embroidered strappy platform for three different looks. Alessandro Michele is changing fashion in more ways than one.
SJP's Always En Pointe
In case you missed it, Sarah Jessica Parker celebrated the opening of the New York City Ballet in an elegant, ballet-inspired Narciso Rodriguez gown. The long-sleeve dark purple and lavender satin gown was the perfect look to celebrate the fifth annual Fall Gala. The fete, conceived by SJP, has raised over $10 million for the NYC Ballet and boasts fantastic designer collaborations year after year. This year, the gala featured four ballets with corps de designers Rodriguez, Rosie Assoulin, Dries Van Noten and Jason Wu.
The Today Puppy
After reading how to not get "Lauer'd," go get Charlie'd. Follow the little Today show puppy on his misadventures on his way to becoming a full-grown service dog for a veteran. The little pup is following in the footsteps of Today grad Wrangler, who left the ABC show earlier this summer. He's really, really cute.
