"I want to thank everyone, you are all letting folks know how you feel and you continue to show love and support. I think people get that the show meant a lot to us," Remini wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

To her critics, she added, "Some might say 'Get over it' and we will, but know that getting a show like this on the air isn’t easy. And we worked very hard to create it. So, we will get over it, but give us a minute! LOL."

"To those who I am DM [direct message] with, Thank you for checking up on me,being there, giving me a lift, a laugh.. those that I FB with… Thank you. I can’t say it enough. Even though I say it here 100 times," she added.

She says it meant a lot to her and Peete to have fan support as the show returned to air.

"Want to thank you all personally for what you did for me and Holly today. You guys knew it would be a tough one and you guys went out of your way for us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You created pages that give BACK to people who need it. what a beautiful thought. Thank you to those who donated. Xoxox~" she added, before signing off with a Henry Drummond quote: "Happiness… consists in giving, and in serving others."

On Twitter, she revealed that some of her The Talk co-hosts haven't been as supportive, such as Sara Gilbert, whom she hasn’t spoken to.

"Haven't heard from her. Wish her all the best. Xoxo," she told a fan, adding that she "was there 4 her" after Gilbert recently separated from her partner of 10 years, Allison Adler.

Remini confirmed she wouldn’t return to the second season of the CBS show via Twitter: "It is official, I am sorry to say I have NOT been asked back on the show. Sorry to my fans. U worked so hard! I adore u guys.”
