THR adds two to ad sales team

Elisabeth Deutschman, Victoria Gold join company

Elisabeth Deutschman and Victoria Gold have joined The Hollywood Reporter's ad sales team.

Deutschman, who spent the past several years at TV Guide Magazine, has been named national sales director TV, and Gold, who worked at theWrap.com, will serve as national sales director film.

Deutschman and Gold will report to THR associate publisher Michaela Apruzzese, who joined THR this month and oversees entertainment industry advertising across the brand's media platforms.

"Beth and Victoria will be directing our entire sales effort for the television and film categories, respectively, based out of the West Coast -- both categories of business that are critical to our future," THR publisher Lori Burgess said. "Beth brings a fantastic mix of consumer experience, having spent six years at TV Guide, combined with understanding and sensitivity to the trade business from her early days at Variety."

As western regional sales director at TV Guide, Deutschman developed multiplatform marketing partnerships and was responsible for selling TV Guide's first single sponsor issue.

"Victoria will inject a great deal of seniority and creativity into our new platform-agnostic selling approach," Burgess said. "Bringing extensive print-sales experience combined with her recent stint at the Wrap, (she) will bring renewed vigor to our film sales."

As vp advertising sales at the Wrap, Gold's primary focus was on collaborating with marketing, media and publicity executives to develop marketing campaigns across all platforms for awards season. Gold spent eight years managing Variety's film division and also worked at Netflix and Apptera.
