THR Promotes Jonathon Aubry to Vice President, Consumer, and Debra Fink to Executive Director, Independent Film and Talent
Aubry had previously been THR's national consumer advertising director, while Fink served as an international sales and marketing consultant to the company.
The Hollywood Reporter has promoted Jonathon Aubry to vice president, consumer, overseeing advertising and partnerships, and Debra Fink has been named executive director of independent film and talent.
Aubry previously had been THR's national consumer advertising director, while Fink served as an international sales and marketing consultant to the company.
"Jonathon and Debra have broken new ground in 2012, driving significant growth in their respective areas," said Lynne Segall, THR's publisher and svp.
"Over the past year, Jonathon has helped to shepherd in a new era of cross platform consumer advertising in print, online and sponsorships,” Segall said. “He has been responsible for large-scale integrated programs with Samsung Galaxy, Audi, City National Bank and Bombardier. Our recent showhouse at the Century with Related Realty and top 25 decorators initiative was led by Jonathon."
"Debra has established deep advertiser relationships from her many years as executive vice president at Screen International,” Segall said. “We are thrilled that Debra is now full time, where she will continue to grow the independent film and international business as well as franchise tentpole issues such as Power Lawyers, Power Business Managers and opening-weekend advertising." Fink reports to vice president of entertainment Victoria Gold.
"THR has become a leading entertainment lifestyle brand since Janice Min came in and reinvented this iconic magazine two years ago," Aubry said. "I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to contribute to the company's continued growth among consumer audiences and extend our brand partnerships across various content verticals."
Said Fink: "New opportunities are emerging in the independent film and international space. With over 30% of THR's online and mobile traffic coming from international, there is enormous upside for ad growth. This role will be an amazing challenge, and I'm thrilled to be able to contribute to the success of the organization."
Prior to his work at THR, Aubry was vp, publisher for Advocate Group, where he managed cross-platform sales for the brand, as well as West Coast sales for all Here Media Inc. platforms.
Prior to THR, Fink, who is an active member of the British Academy of Film and Television, Los Angeles, was executive vice president of Screen International, where she drove the magazine's portfolio of products in print, online and electronic products in North America.
