New York's media elite and other luminaries are gathering at the Four Seasons Restaurant on Wednesday night to celebrate The Hollywood Reporter's 35 Most Powerful People in N.Y. Media.

THR's sixth annual list of the press' most potent voices salutes the anchors, executives and iconoclasts who interpret the popular angst and anger, and reveals their unique perspective on what matters in media, what defines a New Yorker and what really makes America great.

Among the luminaries who made the cut: Fox News' Megyn Kelly, Late Show's Stephen Colbert, Full Frontal host Samantha Bee, CNN's Anderson Cooper, NBC Nightly News' Lester Holt, Saturday Night Live's Lorne Michaels, World News Tonight anchor David Muir, Vogue's Anna Wintour, Comedy Central late-night hosts Trevor Noah and Larry Wilmore, The New Yorker editor David Remnick and Today anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.

Follow all the action on the red carpet and inside the glittery, star-studded bash, sponsored by American Airlines, Citi and Nielsen Entertainment, in THR's live blog below.
