T.I. Posts Apology Video After "Insensitive" Female President Comments
Earlier this week, the rapper also tweeted an apology, saying, "My comments about women running for president were unequivocally insensitive and wrong."
Rapper T.I. made headlines this week when he said in an interview that he would never vote for a female president because women are prone to making "rash decisions." He quickly backtracked, apologizing Tuesday on Twitter. "My comments about women running for president were unequivocally insensitive and wrong," he tweeted. "I sincerely apologize to everyone I offended."
On Thursday, Oct. 15, T.I. apologized again, this time in a Facebook video, spinning the camera around the room to verify that there were no PR people telling him what to say. He also addresses the women in his life, apologizing to them and claiming that they know him well enough to know he was joking. After then addressing those who don't know him, he explains he knows his daughters and anyone else's daughters are capable of leading the nation.
