TIFF: Hollywood Reporter, Facebook Partner for Star-Studded Video Lounge

Bryan Cranston, Naomi Watts, Michael Moore and Jane Fonda are set to attend.

The Hollywood Reporter is collaborating with Facebook and Instagram at their video lounge at the Toronto Film Festival, inviting A-list talent and filmmakers to speak about their work, beginning Sept. 11.

There will be an Instagram Portrait Experience for Hyperlapse videos which will be shared on THR's Instagram account, and A-list talent will be answering Facebook Fan questions to be shared on the official THR Facebook Page.

THR will post portraits and videos of the many filmmakers at the festival, using the hashtag #TIFF15. The lounge, located at the Brassaii restaurant at 461 King Street, is sponsored by American Airlines, MAC Cosmetics and Forevermark. 

In Toronto, THR's reporting team, lead by executive editor Matthew Belloni and international news editor Kevin Cassidy, will produce a daily print edition of the magazine, also beginning Sept. 11.

Awards analyst Scott Feinberg will be dissecting the latest premieres at The Race and hosting his Awards Chatter podcast. 

THR's team of critics, led by chief film critic Todd McCarthy and reviews editor Jon Frosch, will be providing up-to-the-minute reviews of festival premieres on both the web site and the print daily. 

At THR's video lounge, director Michael Moore is scheduled to talk about his much anticipated documentary, Where to Invade Next, and Black Mass director Scott Cooper is slated to visit with the cast of his Whitey Bulger biopic, including Joel Edgerton and Dakota Johnson. THR's Stacey Wilson Hunt and Gregg Kilday will interview talent stopping at the lounge in collaboration with photo and video director Jennifer Laski.

Also on tap at the lounge: Bryan Cranston will discuss his 1940s Hollywood flick, Trumbo, and Susan Sarandon will be on hand to talk about her film, The Meddler. Both titles are premiering at the festival.

Davis Guggenheim, will discuss his documentary He Named Me Malala. Jason Bateman, Michael Caine, Cary Fukunaga, J.K. Simmons, Elle Fanning, Geoffrey Rush, David Oyelowo and a slew of other stars are set to attend as well.
