The voice cast of the animated comedy includes Rob Schneider, Heather Graham and Bill Nighy.

Good Universe has kicked off the Toronto Film Festival with a raft of global sales for its animated adventure comedy Norm of the North.

Good Universe closed deals for Norm with more than 40 international territories, including with Telepool for Germany, TF1 (France), Village Roadshow (Australia/New Zealand) and Notorious Pictures (Italy).

The film, from director Trevor Wall, follows the exploits of fun-loving polar bear Norm and his three lemming pals who travel to New York to fight a land developer who would destroy their Arctic home. It features the voice talents of Rob Schneider, Heather Graham, Ken Jeong, Loretta Devine and Bill Nighy.

Lionsgate has North American rights to the film, the first feature by animated TV specialists Splash Entertainment (Chloe's Closet, Care Bears), and will bow it domestically Jan. 15.
