Schweiger's rom-com and boxing doc score multiple trophies at Austrian film and TV honors.

COLOGNE, Germany - Til Schweiger's  Kokowääh and boxing documentary Klitschko were the big winnersthis year at the Romys, Austria's top film and TV awards show, scooping top honors each. Schweiger took best film and best film directing for his romantic comedy and Klitschko scored the best feature documentary with producers Leopold Hoesch and Sebastian Dehnhardt winning the best the best documentary producer honor.

The television awards were split more evenly among a group of TV movies, with family epic The Man with the Bassoon winning best TV movie; ER drama The Miracle of Carinthia taking best TV screenplay (writers Christoph Silber, Thorsten Wettcke) and best production honors for producers Sam Davis and Klaus Graf; and experimental crime drama Three Lives winning the best TV directing trophy for its helming trio Christian Petzold, Dominik Graf and Christoph Hochhäusler.

The Austrian film and television academy, which votes for the Romy winners, does not honor actors with its main prizes but the Romys include a separate, audience award section. This year Nicholas Ofczarek and Birgit Minichmayr, two actors as well-known for their work on stage as in front of a camera, took the awards for most beloved actor and actress.
