Tim Hincks re-ups with Endemol
To stay as CEO of its British arm until December 2014LONDON -- Endemol CEO Ynon Kreiz has renewed the entertainment company's deal with Tim Hincks, CEO of its British arm Endemol U.K., for four more years.
The long-term deal is part of Endemol's overall strategy to keep its top executives tied in for longer periods.
Hincks, who has been with Endemol for over a decade, will remain with Endemol U.K. until December 2014 under an undisclosed incentives package.
Last year the U.K. division saw its biggest show "Big Brother" canceled by Channel 4 after this summer's series, but has expanded and diversified its output in the past 12 months, launching 30 new commissions and having a total of 73 series on air including "Total Wipeout," "Would I Lie To You," "8 Out of 10 Cats" and "Golden Balls."
During Hincks' tenure Endemol has added Tiger Aspect, Darlow Smithson and Tigress Productions to a U.K. portfolio that already includes Remarkable Television, Initial and comedy producer Zeppotron as well as stakes in digital entertainment companies MoMedia International Ltd and Pure Grass Films.
"Tim is an extraordinarily skilled operator and a world class creative talent," said Kreiz. "He has fostered an exceptional team at Endemol UK, which continues to deliver hit after hit and is a testament to the quality of his leadership."
