It seems as though Rihanna can't catch a break lately, from having her latest perfume ad deemed too "sexually suggestive" to getting her Instagram shut down for posting topless photos. And now another group is upset with RiRi's risque persona.
While appearing on Australia's Chanel 7 show Sunrise Friday morning, TLC members Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas expressed their thoughts on the pop star.
"Every time I see you, you don't have to be naked," said T-Boz of Rihanna, who stepped out in a see-through Adam Selman dress at Monday's CFDA Awards before receiving her Fashion Icon Award.
"It's easy to sell sex," said the duo, with T-Boz adding, "It's hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, 'Oh, TLC must be jealous,' but I call a spade a spade."
Added Chilli: "We became the biggest-selling girl group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot."
But RiRi would disagree, as she responded to their criticism by changing her Twitter background to a topless photo of TLC, and mocking the situation with several Tweets, including one that read: "When there's no changing the fact that I'm me, and they're well… they're them."
