Tolosa takes MTV Latin America strategy post
EmptyBUENOS AIRES -- Jose Tolosa has joined MTV Networks Latin America as vp strategy and business development, based in Miami. He will be responsible for development, growth and expansion opportunities for all of the company's brands in Latin America, including MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite.
Tolos -- who will report to Scot McBride, MTVNLA's exec vp and COO -- previously held executive positions at HNMA Funding Co., the Parthenon Group, Bear Stearns and Claxson Interactive Group.
A native of Puerto Rico, Tolosa holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.
MTV Networks Latin America has enjoyed considerable growth in recent years and its brands can now be seen in Spanish and Portuguese in more than 20 countries across North, Central and South America.
