Tom DeLonge Wants Blink-182 Bandmate Mark Hoppus "To Be Happy"
The guitarist and singer-songwriter, who may or may not have quit the band earlier this year, posted a message for his onetime colleague.
The same week Tom DeLonge released a new track, "New World," the guitarist and singer-songwriter took to Twitter to share a message about one of his former Blink-182 bandmates, Mark Hoppus.
"I will never dislike @markhoppus - too many years as my closest friend," DeLonge wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. "I want him to be happy."
DeLonge's To the Stars … Demos, Odds and Ends album is slated for an April 20 release. This comes after he and Blink-182 seemingly parted ways earlier this year. Meanwhile, Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker will play Musink Festival without DeLonge on March 20. Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba will play guitar at the gig.
