Tom Ford Teams Up With Net-a-Porter to Sell Ready-to-Wear
The e-tailer will be the first to sell his men's and women's RTW collections online.
Net-a-Porter continues to dominate when it comes to partnering with luxury labels to sell their collections online. First it was Chanel's Coco Crush fine jewelry, then Etro, and now Tom Ford has hopped onboard the Net-a-Porter train.
According to WWD, starting in July the e-commerce site will sell an edited selection of Ford's women's fall ready-to-wear line, which has typically been sold at his own boutiques and brick-and-mortar department stores. (Ford's own e-commerce site currently only sells accessories, eyewear and beauty.) Guys will be able to get in on the action, too, as the men's collection will launch in September on Mr Porter.
