Tom Hanks and Ellen DeGeneres Have a Pixar-Off as Woody and Dory
The beloved characters from different films shared an imaginary scene together.
Two of Pixar's biggest star have finally come face to face.
During Friday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, DeGeneres and Tom Hanks briefly reprised their famous Pixar voice roles of, respectively, Dory from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory and Woody from the Toy Story trilogy.
“Do you make [young fans] close their eyes and then speak to them like Dory?” asked Hanks while visiting DeGeneres on her show. He requested DeGeneres try it, covering his eyes as she spoke like the famous blue fish.
"We could have a Pixar-off right here," he said. DeGeneres agreed, so Hanks instructed the audience to close their eyes and imagine they are in "Pixar-land."
The duo then began a hilarious improvisation where Woody has lost his hat and asks Dory to help him find it. "What hat?" she asks, having already forgotten the conversation.
The actors then talked about how physically exhausting it can be to act only using their voices.
