Tonys 2012: Jessica Chastain, Tyler Perry to Present
Nick Jonas, Amanda Seyfried and Jim Parsons will also make appearances on the June 10 telecast.
Jessica Chastain and Tyler Perry have been added to the starry lineup of presenters at the 2012 Tony Awards celebrating all things Broadway.
Chastain, Oscar-nominated for her breakout supporting role in The Help, makes her Broadway debut in The Heiress this fall; Perry has long been a force in theater, turning his popular plays into TV shows and movies.
Other boldfaced names making appearances: Nick Jonas; Jim Parsons; Amanda Seyfried; Paul Rudd; Ellen Barkin; Angela Lansbury; Bernadette Peters; Candice Bergen; Christopher Plummer; James Marsden; Mandy Patinkin; Sheryl Crow; and South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who won a slew of Tonys last year for their hit musical The Book of Mormon.
As previously reported, Neil Patrick Harris returns to host the June 10 event, which will be broadcast live on CBS from New York City's Beacon Theater.
This year, the crowd-pleaser Once -- based on the Ireland-set indie film of the same name -- picked up 11 Tony nominations including the best musical prize.
