Tonys: Angela Lansbury, Neil Patrick Harris, Jake Gyllenhaal to Present
James Earl Jones, Claire Danes, Daniel Dae Kim, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, Sean Hayes, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Marlee Matlin, Uzo Aduba, Blair Underwood and Andrew Rannells also will appear at Sunday's awards show.
Angela Lansbury, James Earl Jones and Neil Patrick Harris are heading to the Tony Awards.
The three previous Tony winners will join Claire Danes, Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniel Dae Kim, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, Sean Hayes, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Marlee Matlin, Uzo Aduba, Blair Underwood and Andrew Rannells as presenters during Sunday’s ceremony.
Previously announced presenters include Oprah Winfrey, Cate Blanchett, Carole King, Audra McDonald, Saoirse Ronan, Patina Miller, Nathan Lane and Steve Martin, among others. Barbra Streisand is set to make her first appearance at the ceremony in 46 years.
The awards show will be hosted by James Corden and broadcast live on CBS from New York’s Beacon Theatre.
The musical Hamilton received a record 16 nominations, followed by Shuffle Along with 10 and She Loves Me with eight. Long Day's Journey Into Night is the most nominated play, securing seven mentions.
The Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
