Toronto: 'Who Am I' Sells Globally

Buyers in Japan, Poland and Latin America go for Baran bo Odar's German hacker thriller

International buyers are clicking on to Who Am I – No System is Safe, a slick hacker thriller from German director Baran bo Odar.

The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and will open in Germany via Sony Pictures Releasing this Thursday, stars Tom Schilling, Elyas M'Barek and Danish actress Trine Dyrholm.

Sales group TrustNordisk closed deals for Who Am I with Phantom Film for Japan and Borsalino for Latin America, with Hagi Film taking Polish rights. Several other territories are currently in negotiations.

Who Am I was produced by Quirin Berg and Max Wiedemann, the producers of the Oscar-winning The Lives of Others, together with Justyna Muesch, and co-produced by Seven Pictures and co-Sony's German production subsidiary Deutsche Columbia Pictures.
