The trailer has everything from polar bears to Pope Francis.

"I just want to know how far we've gone and if there is anything we can do to stop it," says Leonardo DiCaprio as he makes eye contact with a polar bear in the first trailer for his feature Before the Flood.

The climate change documentary sees the Oscar winner traveling around the world, giving an address an the U.N. and meeting with the likes of Pope Francis and Elon Musk.

DiCaprio made the doc with actor-director Fisher Stevens.

“Climate change is the most critical and urgent problem facing our world today, and it must be a top issue for voters this election day,” said DiCaprio of the film on Tuesday. “Fisher and I set out to make a film that not only educates people about the challenges we face if we fail to act, but one which also shows the solutions we can implement if we can find the political will to do so. We need leaders not only in the United States, but across the globe, who believe in the science of climate change and who have the courage to take a stand for our planet. Bringing this film to college campuses is a key component to engaging young voters to hold our leaders accountable.”

Fisher added, “As last night’s debate made clear, climate change is and should be a pivotal part of the conversation for this election.”

Before the Flood's limited theatrical release will start Oct. 21 and will air globally on the National Geographic Channel on Oct 30. The doc will also screen at the White House on Oct. 3 as part of the South by South Lawn festival.
