Game of Thrones actor Ed Skrein stars in the new film, the first in a planned trilogy, playing tough guy transporter Frank Martin, a role made famous by Jason Statham in the first three Transporter films.

Camille Delamarre (Brick Mansions) directed The Transporter Legacy with EuropaCorps' Luc Besson, creator of the original franchise, producing together with Mark Gao from Fundamental Films.

The first three Transporter films have grossed a combined $237 million worldwide.
