Love unwinding with spa treatments but hate the crowds? Don't hang out with everyone at the spa if you don't want to. Travel expert Melissa Schwartz of Destination Happiness picks three havens where the treatments come to you.

Mandarin Oriental New York - VIP SPA SUITE (80 Columbus Circle, New York, mandarinoriental.com)

This 650-square-foot Asian-style dayroom includes a fireplace, elevated bath, dual massage beds and king bed. Packages (starting at $1,250 for a three-hour booking) can include a four-handed massage, a soaking bath with customized oil blends and in-room bento breakfast or lunch.

Maroma Resort Riviera Maya - SIAN NAH SUITE (Carretera Cancun Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico, maromahotel.com)

Mayan for “House of Heaven,” the Sian Nah oceanfront one-bedroom suite (from $1,945 a night) at Mexico’s Maroma Resort and Spa offers its own separate spa area for treatments, fitness equipment, indoor and outdoor showers and a terrace with dining palapa and plunge pool.

Half Moon Jamaica - FERN TREE SPA SUITES (Montego Bay, Jamaica, halfmoon.rockresorts.com)

These private sanctuaries at Half Moon Resort in Rose Hall, Jamaica (rooms from $1,599 a night) allow guests to have private spa services in suites ranging from 700 to 1,000 square feet. Each suite has a separate treatment area and fitness studio (personal trainers can be reserved) with full views of the Caribbean Sea.
