The Tribeca Film Festival has set its dates for 2008, sticking to the 12-day length set in 2007 after cutting back from 13 days in 2006 amidst some industry calls for condensing its time frame. The fest will run April 23 to May 4, leaving film execs ten days before the Festival de Cannes' May 14 launch. The event is open for feature and short submissions Sept. 10, with a Dec. 14 deadline for completed films and a Jan. 11 deadline for feature works-in-progress.
