Trio book roles in 'Ramona'

Goodwin, Corbett, Moynahan join Fox 2000 film

Ginnifer Goodwin, John Corbett and Bridget Moynahan have joined the cast of "Ramona and Beezus," a film based on the classic children's book series.

Elizabeth Allen ("Aquamarine") is directing the Fox 2000/Walden Media film, based on the classic children's book series written by Beverly Cleary. Goodwin will play 10-year-old Ramona's favorite person, Aunt Bea, and Moynahan and Corbett will play the two girls' parents, Dorothy and Bob Quimby.

Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan are producing. Principal photography is scheduled to start in Vancouver in April.

Goodwin, repped by WMA and John Carrabino Management, most recently starred in "He's Just Not That Into You," which has grossed $118 million worldwide. She is also one of the stars of HBO's "Big Love."

Moynahan, repped by Endeavor and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, has starred in "Noise," "Lord of War" and "I, Robot."

Corbett, repped by CAA and Lovett Management, stars with Toni Collette in "United States of Tara" on Showtime. He also will appear in the forthcoming comedy "I Hate Valentine's Day," written and directed by Nia Vardalos, who co-starred with him in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding."
