Turner Ups David Wolkis to VP Production

Turner Entertainment Networks has upped David Wolkis to vp production at TNT and TBS Originals.

The former director of production for TNT and TBS Originals will continue to oversee production of original series, movies and specials, including developing and executing production strategy, schedules and begets with Turner's studio partners and talent. 

Since joining Turner in 2000 as an accounting assistant for TNT Originals, Wolkis has been involved in managing production on series including Franklin & Bash as well as the upcoming Dallas reboot. He's also supervised production on TNT's new Mystery Movie Night franchise.

“This is a much-deserved promotion for David,” TNT and TBS senior vp production Mark Weissman said in a statement announcing the news Thursday. “He is very smart and has a great work ethic, strong analytical skills and sound judgment. In a short time, David has grown to become an essential member of our team.”
