WHAT A 'CATCH'

The season finale of Discovery's "Deadliest Catch" reeled in big ratings Tuesday. "Deadliest Catch: The Final Hour" averaged 3.6 million viewers, Nielsen Media Research said. It was the most-watched episode of its fourth season, though it was only the fourth-highest-rated episode of the season. The 2.2 rating in adults 25-54 was up 15% week-over-week, while the household rating (2.2) was up 14%.

REDLASSO ROPED

NBC Universal and Fox filed suit Wednesday against Redlasso, saying the video provider copies and distributes the companies' content without authorization. In the lawsuit filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, NBC Universal, Fox News Channel and Fox Television Stations Group said Redlasso had been engaging in the "wholly unauthorized" copying and distribution of its content. It isn't clear what damages the companies are seeking.

OBAMA GAME FOR GAMES

Barack Obama's presidential campaign will put its message in front of viewers of the Beijing Olympics next month. The Obama campaign will buy $5 million in network and cable ads during the Olympics. There was no word whether John McCain was about to purchase any ads during the Olympics.
