Empty'TRUE' STORY AT NICK
Nickelodeon has handed out two 20-episode series orders: to the live-action comedy "True Jackson, VP" and the stop-motion animated comedy "Glenn Martin, DDS." "True" (formerly "True Fashion") stars Keke Palmer as 15-year-old True Jackson, who is tapped to head the youth division of a major fashion label. The series, created and exec produced by Andy Gordon, begins shooting in September in Los Angeles. "Glenn," about a dentist and his family embarking on a cross-country road trip, hails from Michael Eisner's Tornante Animation.

MGM is launching This TV network, an ad-supported 24/7 linear digital channel aimed at local TV stations looking to monetize their digital spectrum. This TV, on which MGM is partnering with Chicago-based Weigel Broadcasting, will be rolled out in the fall.
OFCOM MULLS CHANGE
Ofcom's review of public service broadcasting could end the BBC's long-held right to the yearly $7 billion TV-owner license fee in favor of sharing it with ITV and Channel 4, according to a leaked copy of the report due in September. The review is understood to recognize that ITV can't afford to maintain its public service commitments and allow it to drop some of its responsibilities.
FOX SETS ITS 'SECRET'
Fox's reality series "Secret Millionaire" will bow Dec. 3. The show, on which wealthy people go undercover in poor neighborhoods, will air Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m.
