JAY'S STILL ON TOP

NBC finished the 2007-08 broadcast season with "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" as the No. 1 late-night program among adults 18-49 for the 13th straight year, while "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" wrapped its 14th straight season at No. 1 in its time period. Leno averaged 1.8 million viewers in the demo (up 23% from CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman") and O'Brien had 984,000 (up 39% in the demo vs. "Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson").

WHITING IN VP MODE

Todd Whiting has been upped to vp cable and ancillary sales at NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Whiting, who was director, most recently completed the off-network licensing deal of "The Biggest Loser" to Fine Living Network and the deal to provide the original series "Hollywood Green With Maria Menounous" to Planet Green.

SANDLER communicates

Rachel Lizerbram Sandler has been named head of communications at TV Land, overseeing all facets of publicity, media relations and internal communications for TV Land and new primetime block TV Land Prime. Sandler, based in New York, has been with TV Land since 2004, most recently spearheading publicity efforts for original series "She's Got the Look."
