EmptyBurnett, Maloofs in Kings' court
Mark Burnett Prods. and production company Maloof Television are teaming to produce a new reality series following the NBA's Sacramento Kings. "Rebuilding the Kingdom" will follow the franchise as it undergoes an overhaul to regain its winning tradition. The production will follow the players and coaches and the unique challenges in running a pro basketball team. The team is owned by the Maloof family.
SKI hitting SLOPES
The Ski Channel has inked multiyear distribution agreements with DirecTV and Verizon FiOS TV and is set to launch Dec. 25 to more than 15 million households. The network also has signed a programming/marketing partnership with Warren Miller Films & Ski magazine.

Duff deals with NBC
Hilary Duff has signed a talent and development deal with NBC. The network said it will come up with a new series for the former "Lizzie McGuire" topliner to star in, though it offered no details on what that might be. In addition, the network said Friday that she will appear as a guest on several other NBC series during the next year.
