RATINGS NOT SO ROSY

A mere 5 million viewers tuned in Friday for the 8 p.m. bow of Rosie O'Donnell's variety show "Rosie Live" on NBC, with the program earning a 1.2 preliminary rating in adults 18-49. During the weekend, O'Donnell wrote on her blog that the low ratings and bad reviews meant that NBC wouldn't pick up the show.

MSLO MOVES

Bernie Young has been promoted to executive vp and GM of broadcasting at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. He will be responsible for the firm's TV programming and operations. Liz Aiello also has been upped to senior vp broadcasting and Omnimedia content strategy.

GEORGIA PEACHES

The Bravo reality series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Watch What Happens" reunion special Tuesday night drew 2.8 million total viewers, 2.1 million of those in the adults 18-49 demographic. It was the highest-rated telecast to date for the "Real Housewives" franchise.

Premiere gets kicks

German pay TV group Premiere has secured top Bundesliga soccer rights for the next four seasons in a billion-dollar deal that is key to the company's survival. Under the new deal, Premiere will pay $287 million for the 2009-10 season, rising to $350 million for the 2012-13 season.
