Fred Savage and Danica McKellar were mentioned as the first crushes these supporting TV actors had on Hollywood stars. Matt Dillon and Cindy Crawford also made the list.
TV's best supporting actors shared their first Hollywood crushes during The Hollywood Reporter's Supporting Actor Emmy Roundtable. "In the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," Timothy Simons (Veep) explains, "there was a girl who worked in the Foot Clan hideout, and I think she was a featured extra, but she seemed very dangerous."
Responses continued on, covering the basics: "Michael J. Fox!" "Ryan Phillippe!"
"Matt Damon," Kathryn Hahn (Happyish) said to a confused Amanda Peet (Togetherness).
"Matt Damon was, like, last week."
"Oh no, not Matt Damon, I'm horrible! Matt … You know, from The Outsiders!"
"One of the first ones I remember is definitely Cindy Crawford," confessed Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley). "Diet Pepsi commercial. That changed my life,"
"Fred Savage," said Chelsea Peretti (Brooklyn Nine-Nine).
"Ooh! I was going to say Winnie Cooper!" said Stephen Rannazzisi (The League) "I was about to say Danica McKellar!"
