Offering a rare sneak peek into BBC talent fees, the pubcaster said Monday that its top 10 earners each made "well in excess" of £2 million ($3.9 million) in appearance fees last year, while 30-40 TV and radio stars were paid more than £1 million ($1.9 million) apiece in program fees. The report was commissioned after concerns that such deals were evidence the pubcaster was wasting license fee payers' money. BBC Trust chairman Michael Lyons said there was no evidence the BBC was paying more than market price.



'Pajanimals' at PBS

PBS Kids Sprout said Monday that it's premiering a new series, "Pajanimals," from the Jim Henson Co. and 4Kids Entertainment in November during its nighttime block the Good Night Show.

Ware to run IA Media

Adam Ware has been tapped as president of the newly formed IA Media, which includes oversight of ImaginAsian TV, the network that focuses on Asian pop culture. He will be responsible for the management of iaTV's programming, production, marketing, advertising sales and distribution in addition to the firm's digital media properties.

Grammer OK

Kelsey Grammer is resting in a Hawaii hospital after suffering a mild heart attack over the weekend. The actor had experienced symptoms Saturday after paddle-boarding.
